NaPoWriMo Day 27 is all about the long line in the style of Irish poet, Ciaran Carson.

I have been editing and world building all day, so I kept the lines long but the poem short.


NaPoWriMo Day 27 – The Long Line

Shadows spill across the cobbled stones beneath the gas lamps of Buck’s Row,
Mary Nichols, her entrails weeping from a clown’s mouth of shredded flesh,
Stares into the greying clouds as they crawl above Whitechapel, unseen.
